Dr. Robynn Geier
I grew up in beautiful Lake Country, BC and completed my undergraduate degree in Life Sciences at Queen’s University in 2011. I returned to BC to study medicine and earned my degree at UBC in 2015. I finished residency training in Pediatrics at BC Children’s Hospital in 2019. During residency, I was fortunate to learn from a diverse group of Pediatricians across the province and refine my teaching and leadership skills as one of the hospital’s Chief Residents. Living and working in BC has been a dream – I feel lucky to be surrounded by wonderful mentors, patients, and families.
I currently practice General Pediatrics at BC Women’s Hospital where I provide newborn care, and have worked as a consultant Pediatrician throughout BC, caring for neonates, children and teens. One of my greatest joys is participating in medical education and supporting the next generation of physicians. I am continually grateful for our families and patients for allowing us, your medical team, to learn and grow with you on your health and wellness journey.
Outside of work, I’m a downhill skier, runner and cyclist, and love spending time outdoors with my husband and son Liam. I’m a fan of trying new things and often look silly in the learning process. On the quieter days, I enjoy reading, baking and organizing the Marie Kondo way.

What’s a fun fact about Dr. Geier?
I have adopted a South American llama named Leroy.
